Helen Thomas, Chris Reid: Obama controls the Press like no one before him
Helen Thomas, who has been White House Correspondent for every Administration since Kennedy, said that even Nixon did not try to control the Press the way that Obama does. Back then they didn't try because they knew they couldn't do it. Much of the Press nowadays has no shame at all about this new relationship. What if George W Bush had tried to exert this kind of control of every speech, every town hall meeting, every everything? It amazes me how they claimed everything President Bush did was wrong, and went against our way of life and our Constitution, yet, Obama comes along and only INCREASES and ADDS TO any such misdeeds that Bush did do -- and they HELP him! No more complaining, let's roll up our sleeves and help him control us, and ransack the country. Honestly, I'm surprised to see Thomas and Reid, quite liberal both, speaking out so strongly against this, but I sure am glad they are starting to wake up and speak out.

Sign a petition urging the Senate to vote against Cap and Trade
Sign this petition to vote NO on Cap and Trade. While you're at it, check out the story at CBS (!) about the EPA hiding a 98 page report from within their agency, saying that the evidence for global warming is not strong enough to warrant such drastic government action!
The Cap and Trade bill has already passed the House. It has to be stopped at the Senate!
Here's site where you can send your own email directly to your Senators.
And go here if you want to see the video of President Obama explaining his Cap and Trade plan and how he said that it would necessarily cause energy costs to SKYROCKET.
